I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Ayenda. The staff that served breakfast was friendly and the breakfast itself was decent. The swimming pool was a nice addition, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. Despite some minor flaws, such as the old windows not blocking out noise from the loud neighborhood and the lack of hot water in the shower, the price of the hotel was reasonable. I would recommend this hotel for budget-conscious travelers looking for a basic stay in Cartagena.
